His Kids Preschool at Oak Harbor Lutheran Church has been an important ministry since 1993. We offer two affordable class options during the school year, a Monday-Wednesday preschool curriculum (3-day) for younger students and an additional Thursday-Friday kindergarten readiness curriculum (5-day) for older students. Our time in the classroom includes circle time, hands on learning, themed projects and activities, weekly chapel, monthly field trips, community presentations, STEM learning on a 2 year curriculum, and focused early reading, writing and math skills for our kindergarten prep class. Our teachers and volunteers create a safe and engaging classroom for all children, making sure they feel valued and loved for the important people they are. We encourage development of self discipline, a good self image; helping children to develop spiritually, physically, socially, and emotionally with a readiness experience in preparation for public school. At His Kids Preschool learning is fun. Children are taught through play to develop healthy personalities, form values, and develop the conscience, feelings and attitudes that form the foundation for a positive self-image and good relationships.

Our preschool cares for children ages 3-6 years old. (We will consider 2 1/2 and up if ready for a classroom setting) 

Children do not need to be potty trained, but it’s strongly encouraged

We are an "Educational Playhouse". Children learn through play, socialization, and learning to be a nice friend.

Helping each child reach for Kindergarten readiness is truly our goal. 

We have rated a "Level 3" with Early Achievers and take pride in rating at Level 3.
