Island Strings exists to create opportunities and access to stringed instrument education for Whidbey Island students of violin, viola, cello and double bass.

Our preschool cares for children ages 3-6 years old. (We will consider 2 1/2 and up if ready for a classroom setting) 

Children do not need to be potty trained, but it’s strongly encouraged

We are an "Educational Playhouse". Children learn through play, socialization, and learning to be a nice friend.

Helping each child reach for Kindergarten readiness is truly our goal. 

We have rated a "Level 3" with Early Achievers and take pride in rating at Level 3.
