Family In Nature at Deception Pass State Park:
FREE Outdoor Experiences With Your Kids, ages 2 to 5:
Have you ever wanted to take your children to play outside but weren’t exactly sure what to do? Attend a fun Family in Nature program!
Family in Nature programs include nature-based games, stories, and crafts. These programs are designed for kids ages to 2-5 and their adults.

UPDATE: All programs are 9:30-11:00 a.m., so choose to attend either Friday or Saturday.
Events are planned twice a month, through May.

Creating Clay Cups (for kids ages 6 - 16), March 29, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. in Langley, with Jordan Jones. In this beginner-friendly clay class, we will construct cups out of slabs of clay and decorate them with stamps and sculpted creations. Free. Donations Appreciated.
Expressing Feelings Through Music and Song a one-hour workshop for children in Langley
Date: Tuesday, March 25
Time: 3:30-4:30 pm
Ages: 4-10
Cost: FREE (donations appreciated)
Music and song can assist us to express complicated emotions in vast and exciting ways. Join us as we explore how different ways of singing and movement can help us express our emotions in a constructive fashion and learn how to safely dance and sing to express even challenging emotions through music and song! Students should wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and expressive dancing

First game is on April 19th & the season runs until early June.
We also need coaches! If you'd like to coach, click the same link and click on Coach/Admin instead of Player. We can't have a successful season without coaches. Head coaches will receive a $40 stipend at the end of the season, covering half the registration for their child.
If you or someone you know has a child who has an interest in playing but simply cannot afford to participate due to financial constraints, please let them know that NWSC does offer scholarships to allow these players to participate. Applications can be found here:

Info for the spring season:
- First games on Saturday April 19th
- Final games on June 7th and 8th at the Jamboree at Fort Nugent
- All games are played on Saturdays in Oak Harbor or Langley
- Note that there are no games the weekend of Holland Happening but there ARE games Memorial Day Weekend
- Practices will start on April 7 and go through June 4
- Practices will be at Camp Casey on Monday and Wednesdays between 5 and 7pm, coaches to confirm prior to April 7

WHILST THE CLUB MAKES EVERY EFFORT TO GET EVERY CHILD PLAYING - SPACES ARE LIMITED DUE TO CLUB RESOURCES - SO PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY! Divisions with coaches will allow a certain amount of players to register before a waitlist. If there is not enough/any coaches for a division, all players will start on a waitlist.
