Central Whidbey Cooperative Preschool Pre-K Openings!
Our family has been part of Central Whidbey Cooperative Preschool (CWCP) for nearly four years, and the experience has been truly incredible. CWCP isn’t just a school—it’s a community where both children and parents grow. I’ve gained leadership skills, made lasting friendships, and had the unique opportunity to be deeply involved in my child’s education. Working in the classroom alongside the amazing Miss Tami is so rewarding! CWCP has been serving local families on Whidbey Island for over 40 years as a non-profit preschool, fostering a cooperative environment where children develop socially, emotionally, and academically, while parents play an active role.
Each day at CWCP begins with children arriving, washing hands, and playing in the gym, followed by a welcoming circle and free play at various learning centers that include art, sensory tables, dramatic play, and more. After cleanup, kids enjoy group stories, games, and songs, with snack time providing an opportunity for social development. The day ends with outdoor play and a closing circle. Parents assist in the classroom, attend monthly meetings, and volunteer on committees, creating a truly enriching experience for the entire family.
Due to a last minute withdrawal, CWCP’s Pre-K class has an opening!! For children 4-6 years old, offering both AM and PM sessions Monday through Wednesday, with a dedicated Pre-K day on Thursday. Don’t miss the chance to join this amazing community—come grow with us! Scholarships available.
