The Oak Harbor Chamber invites you to the Holland Happening Heritage Festival, celebrating its
55th Anniversary! This year, the Oak Harbor community has created a more
traditional Dutch festival than in previous years.
Experience a salute to our Dutch heritage as you walk the street fair.
FESTIVAL HOURS:
Saturday, April 27 | 10 am - 7 pm and Sunday, April 28 | 11 am - 5 pm
Parade:
The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday (4/27) from the corner of Midway Blvd.
and Pioneer Way. It continues down Bayshore Drive, turns back onto Pioneer Way,
and then ends in front of Ace Hardware.
Bring a bag or two, for all the goodies you’ll collect at the parade!
Street Fair:
In Downtown Oak Harbor, from Pioneer Way and Dock Street, to the Food Court.
Vendors from Western Washington will showcase their unique and diverse
selection of foods and artisan goods.
Food Court: Located at the end of the street fair on Pioneer Way, to Midway Blvd.

Saturday, 12 – 6:30 and Sunday, 12 – 4:30 at the Pop-Up Plaza,
at the corner of Dock Street and Pioneer Way.
Enjoy an amazing lineup of local musicians, who will be performing
throughout the day.
Kids Zone: Near the corner of Pioneer Way and Dock Street.
There’s a fun corner for kids where they can play FREE carnival games, win prizes, and be creative with crafting activities near the corner of Pioneer Way and Dock Street.
Klompen Shoe Carver: Near the corner of Pioneer Way and Dock Street.
The Chamber is thrilled to announce that there will be a traditional Klompen Shoe Carver, Luke Traver, from Wisconsin! He is the owner of "Luke's Lost Arts". Learn more about what Luke does and about his history with the craft at his website lukeslostarts.com.
Klompen Shoe Races: Located near the corner of Pioneer Way and Dock Street.
People of all ages are welcome to join the Klompen Canal Races! Klompen (wooden shoes)
will be available for $6 each at the festival while supplies last.
Stop by the Oak Harbor Chamber Booth to purchase one
and decorate it at the creative station.

Restrooms: Find “Port-a-loos” near the corner of Pioneer Way and Dock St
and at the end of the food court near
the corner of Pioneer Way and Midway Blvd.
Don’t Forget to Pack Your Comforts: Pack a backpack (leave room for things you’ll
collect at the festival) with some water,
snacks, and anything else that will help
keep those you’re traveling with in good spirits as you experience the festival.
